Dark Sky Mural and Art Workshop

Local artist Jenn Houle and Parker River NWR staff collaborated to create a glow in the dark mural. Mural is located at the entrance of Parker River NWR HQ. Best enjoyed after dark, 7-8pm.

About the Event
Local artist Jenn Houle and Parker River NWR staff collaborated to create a glow in the dark mural highlighting the importance of dark skies to migrating birds, bat, insects, and our connection to the stars. Mural is located at the entrance of Parker River NWR HQ, and is best enjoyed after dark. Lights will stay off until 8pm for mural viewing. Cover flag pole lighting. Viewing hours will shift after daylight savings ends on Nov 3.
